Homemade Honey Barbeque Sauce

A simple, healthy barbecue sauce for your next cookout.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 2 TBSP molasses
  • 2 TBSP apple cider vinegar
  • 3 TBSP coconut aminos or organic soy sauce
  • 2 TBSP liquid smoke
  • 1 1/2 TBSP chili powder
  • 1 TBSP garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a saucepan.
  • Mix together well.
  • Cook over medium heat until the sauce begins to simmer.
  • Stir continuously for 3-5 minutes.
  • Store unused portions in the refrigerator in an air-tight container.
